Model Assistance Services

Zero Dean Photography offers model assistance services to models. Although similar in many ways to "model management", our model assistance services, include the following: Guidance in all aspects of modeling, from posing and facial expressions to getting comp cards done and more. Assistance in: Establishing goals, organizing efforts as a team & planning for success Getting you prepared to sign with an agency Discovering, pinpointing, and working on areas which may need improvement Creating and managing a professional online presence Creating and managing a print portfolio, headshots, comp cards, etc Finding paid work & communicating with clients (or potential clients) Booking shoots with reputable photographers Avoiding "uncomfortable" experiences with sketchy clients Finding/hiring/working with make-up artists and stylists Networking and finding new opportunities Model promotion & marketing Getting access to model casting calls Providing photo shoot escort & transportation to shoots and model related events Staying focused		It's a free service! This service is provided for free. We only get paid when you get paid and take only a small percentage of your earnings from each paid job you do. Non-possessive "management"! Work with who you want whenever you want. Our goal is to get you work & experience, not limit it. No time based contracts! Your "management" is entirely at-will. We want you to want our services because they are good, not because you are contractually bound to them for a set period of time. You can cancel at any time. No experience necessary! We provide you with all guidance & direction necessary to help you plan for success.

Why Zero Dean provides model assistance:

"I started offering model assistance, in an unofficial capacity, to some of my clients as a way of helping them get started on a path towards achieving their goals in the modeling field.

While doing so, many of my more experienced clients would also share stories with me about their experiences with other photographers and/or managers... and many of these stories were not good. I've heard everything from photographers not acting in a professional fashion (which is an understatement!) to managers simply not doing anything to help the models they were supposedly "managing". In many cases, these experiences were giving my clients the completely wrong impression of photographers, managers, and modeling as a whole.

After working with me, my clients would often express something along the lines of, "I wish you were available when I was starting out" or "This was a great experience, so much better than [previous experience]"

So in September 2004, I decided to offer my model assistance services in an official capacity in order to help repair some of the damage that's being done elsewhere by others in the industry. While I am not an agency, I do help provide models with the information and experience necessary to help them achieve their modeling goals and, at the same time, help them to avoid getting into uncomfortable and undesirable situations.

My services have helped several models develop and diversify their portfolios, gain valuable experience, find paid work, and sign with agencies. If you decide to take me on as your "model assistant", I pledge to provide you with the most positive and professional experience possible."
